Rothaus

Beer has been brewed in Rothaus in the Black Forest since 1791. Originally incorporated into the state treasury as a ‘fiscal operation’ authority, it was successfully restructured as a public limited company in 1922. Today, 100% of the shares are held by Beteiligungsgesellschaft des Landes Baden-Württemberg mbH, itself a wholly owned subsidiary of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
