Pilsner Urquell

Pilsner Urquell: The first Pilsner beer was brewed in 1842. Using a bottom-fermenting process, Josef Groll revolutionised what had been a dark, cloudy beer, creating the mother of all golden Pilsner beers – Pilsner Urquell. Today there are many imitations, but the original Pilsner can be recognised by its somewhat darker colouring and its exceptional taste.
